Camp Cedar Cliff Outdoor Education
Outdoor Education (OE) at Camp Cedar Cliff is an innovative program that is designed to inspire the youth of today. Our programming encourages life change through education about our relationship with the environment, and the people around us. Teachers who bring their students to OE will find an experiential learning environment that supports learning goals from the classroom. OE is a dynamic tool that schools can use to meet their students’ need for action and challenge, while bringing classroom subjects to life.
Curriculum Lessons are designed to draw learning from the collective knowledge of the group. This teaches the students to work together and to value every member of their group. All lessons include an activity to assess learning and help engage the students in physical and mental challenges.
Outdoor Classrooms The learning groups at OE are small so that students are able to grow in their relationships with classmates through shared experiences. Classes are primarily held outside so that the students are engaged by the world that surrounds them.
